Application Support Engineer, PT. Lufthansa Systems Indonesia

Objective:
To plan, design, implement and 3rd level support for all Linux or Unix like base applications.

Duties & Responsibilities:
* To plan, design, implement and 3rd level Support
* Responsible for defining server specifications (processor/memory/disk capacity)
* Build and Configure the new servers to support application
* Migrate current custom web application from existing hardware to new hardware within an N-tier web environment
* Apply server alerts and triggers
* Monitor and manage server and application performance including analyzing server performance trend data.
* Establish policies/procedures for future code enhancements

Required Skills and Abilities:
* Bachelor degree (S-1) in Information System / Computer Science or other related area from reputable University with min. GPA of 3,00
* Fluent in English, both oral and written, with min. TOEIC score of 600 (please provide TOEIC score when attending interview)
* Age not older than 27 years old on 01.11.2007
* Some experience with C++ programming would be an advantage


Required Experiences:
* Backend troubleshooting, including supporting N-tier architecture
* Implementing and upgrading solutions as well as proprietary software
* Supporting applications written in Java and J2EE
* 1 year infrastructure design and engineering experience on the Linux and Unix like platform.
* 1 year supporting various applications on Linux and Unix like platform.
* Infrastructure Support of Linux and Unix like platform
* Supporting TCP/IP network service such as DNS, DHCP, File server, Print server
* Experience in configuring and managing an N-tier application environment
* Experience in requirements gathering would be an advantage
