Global Infrastructure Desktop (GI-D) defines, designs and manages the global desktop services to approximately 130,000 desktop customers in over 130 countries and ensures that it is in optimal condition and up-to-date with technology developments and industry standards.
IT Security Analysts (GI-D)
Location: Cyberjaya, Selangor, Malaysia
Responsibilities:
* Be part of the 3rd level technical support team and communicate complex problems to appropriate support teams/software vendors, taking ownership of security incidents, root cause analysis and change management across all technologies;
* Run and maintain Shell's Global Infrastructure Desktop (GI-D) Client and Server Anti-Virus technology/products, GI-D Personal Firewall (end-point-security) and Anti-Virus for non GI-D service;
* Ensure that any potential problems such as performance degradation, reliability and security issues are addressed proactively;
* Monitor and progress all assigned tasks and follow the processes and procedures for Problem, Change, Configuration, Capacity and inventory management.
Requirements:
* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or IT related, with certification in MCSE 2000/2003 is required;
* Minimum 3 years' working experience, on Windows-based client personal firewall and/or anti-virus management in a large-scale enterprise environment;
* Certifications such as Trend Micro Certified Antivirus Professional (TCAP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and/or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are advantageous;
* Possess strong knowledge and troubleshooting skills in Windows 2000 Professional desktop environment and Windows Server 2000;
* Must possess excellent interpersonal skills as well as a strong command of the English language, both verbal and written;
* Candidates must be authorized to work in Malaysia and be willing to accept a local package.
