Recruitment of New Employees, Bank Niaga, Indonesia

To meet growing operational requirements, Bank Niaga has developed a systematic method and approach in the search, recruitment and selection of new employees to fill the different levels of positions available from time to time in its operations. These include: Program Pendidikan Eksekutif (PPE), Clerical Recruitment, and Special Hire Recruitment


Program Pendidikan Eksekutif (PPE)

It's a program designed for management positions through a series of learning activities in classes and an on-the-job training lasting for about eight months using learning modules on general banking, including bank accountancy, operation, finance, treasury, marketing and credits, for a comprehensive understanding of the banking business. Aside from focusing on the technical aspects, the program also aims at developing leadership, managerial skills and discipline.

During the program, conducted at the Bank Niaga Training Center and branches in Indonesia, a series of testing, written and verbal, will be taken at the completion of each learning modules and a final examination at the end of the program, including the writing of a paper, to determine whether a participant successfully completes the course or not. Participants will receive allowance for transportation, consumption and accomodation (only for those from outside Jakarta). A participant who successfully completed the program will be appointed a junior management employe e and located in accordance with the need of the organization. An employee contract will be given for a specific period of time.

Minimum requirements for participation in Program Pendidikan Eksekutif (PPE) are:
- S1/S2 graduate with honors from reputable universities in Indonesia/ overseas with minimum GPA 3.00
- Maximum age 30
- Single
- Possess a high learning interest
- Interested and involved in organization/extracurriculum activities
- Passess all phases of selection according to Bank Niaga standards
- Willing to sign a limited employment contract and located at all Bank Niaga branches


Clerical Recruitment

It's a recruitment program to fill clerical positions in support of existing administrative functions, including frontliners at Bank Niaga Branches (customer relationship assistants, assistant sales/account officers etc) and non-frontliners at the Bank Niaga Main Office, regional and branch offices (secretaries, back office staffs, utility clerks etc).

Minimum requirements for clerical positions are:
- Minimum D3 or S1 graduate from a reputable university in Indonesia with minimum GPA 2,5 for S1 and GPA 2,75 for D3
- Maximum age 27
- Single
- Possess attractive and professional appearance
- Passess all phases of selection according to Bank Niaga standards
- Willing to be placed at all Bank Niaga branches in related region


Special Hire Recruitment

It's a recruitment program for employees with at least 3 years work experience in specific area and or with expertise in a field required for a managerial/management position in accordance with employee quatifications.

Minimum requirement for special hire positions are:
- Minimum S1 graduate from a reputable university in Indonesia/overseas
- Maximum age 33 for Junior Managerial Position and maximum age 38 for Middle/Senior Managerial Position
- Possesses enthusiasm, target oriented, self motivated, hard working and good networking
- With at least 3 years related working experience in foreign/national Devisa Bank
- Passes all stages of selection according to Bank Niaga standards
