Finance Manager ITT Water Technology International Inc. (Philippines)

It is located in Calamba City, 50 km south of Manila. It handles assembly, testing, manufacturing and sales of water pumps and water systems for Asia Pacific region, also know as the REGIONAL DISTRIBUTION AND ASSEMBLY CENTER for Asia Pacific.
The following position is currently open: Finance Manager
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the strict implementation of the organization’s accounting procedures, maintenance of accounting records, and preparation of financial statements and reports.
* Directs the accumulation, classification, recording and summary of financial and cost data; analyzes and interprets operating results in terms of probability and performance against budgets.
* Responsible for management and corporate reporting which includes financial reporting for actual, budgets, forecast, strategic and operating plans, monthly and quarterly finance reporting requirements, balance sheet reviews, federal tax package, and other ad hoc reports as requested by management or corporate.
* Reviews, monitors, and coordinates the efforts of the General, Cost and Property Accounting Sections.
* Responsible for checking of company’s financial policies.
* Oversees the treasury and cashiering activities to ensure the availability of required foreign exchange and local currency.
* Schedules and monitors payment of inter-company loans and domestic payables.
* Preparation of various corporate reports requirements such as monthly TFs, MRs, SBC and etc. Also prepares the quarterly and annual financial reports required by Corporate.
* Checks all payment vouchers & scrutinizes as to propriety of approval, proper account distribution, correctness of amount and completeness of supports.
* Handles tax payments and tax returns requirements.
* Handles various reports and answers general questions as required by Corporate or the Asia Pacific Controller from time to time.
* Reviews/compares actual financial results with budget and highlights to management areas that need corrective action.
* Check A/R cash postings/maintenance as to propriety of GL accounts used
Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
* Post graduate studies would be an advantage
* Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status.
* Preferably assistant manager / managers specializing in Finance - Audit/Taxation/Professional Services or equivalent.

General Qualifications:
* CPA with 4 years audit exposure and 5 years in a senior position
* Must be willing to be assigned in Calamba City, Laguna.
* Must be well adept with computers and has an excellent command of the English language.
* Matured, goal-oriented, responsible, a team player and possesses a happy disposition in life.
